Daniel is a professional photographer in Durham, North Carolina. It’s Daniel’s mission to produce photography that exceeds expectations. He shoots in a variety of formats, from fashion, to headshots and portraits, weddings, commercial, and editorials.
Refined has collaborated with Daniel in styling brand photo shoots (including PONO jewelry, pictured right), as well as personal styling for individual headshots and family portraits.
Theresa’s has an extensive background in art and design. In addition to being a licensed esthetician in the state of North Carolina, she has attending dozens of conferences and Master Classes focusing on makeup application and skincare. This experience has allowed her to see faces through an artistic lens. All of her knowledge from being an artist greatly informs the techniques and creativity of makeup applications. With each new face as a fresh canvas, she strives to create a unique look for each person that reflects their personal style, creating a timeless, original work of art.
Refined’s has teamed up with Theresa Burden to create our Total Image Transformation package as a collaborative full makeover service.
Petersons’ Consigning Design is a family owned consignment shop located in Cary, North Carolina, Petersons’ has a 14,000 sq. ft storefront, filled with beautiful upscale furniture, home décor and women’s fashion.
Refined partners with Petersons’ to consign pieces removed from our clients’ closets during our Closet Audit service. Earnings from consignment sales are credited to our clients’ accounts for use on future services. We work together to ensure maximum return, and reduce landfill waste.

Daisy Buitrago is our in-house seamstress and tailor. With over a decade of experience. Daisy works as a pattern tester and creates one-of-a-kind designs from scratch. She specializes in athleticwear, but can create any unique piece based on clients’ individual wants or needs.
Daisy is available for alterations at Refined’s clients’ try on appointments to ensure every item you purchase has the perfect fit. Refined and Sew Daisy can also create custom designs for clients who are interested in something unavailable from traditional retailers. For those looking for a highly customized one-of-a-kind wardrobe, Refined and Sew Daisy can work together to design and curate a collection completely unique to you.
Elisha Carter has been a professional menswear tailor for 14 years. Earning her degree in fashion design in 2010, she has been sewing ever since. Elisha studied under Master Tailor, Nicolas Latouche, and has worked with reputable companies including Indochino, Suit Supply, and Hive & Colony.
